How you move is more important than how much you move. The motor cortex has the ability to memorize repeated movements. That's when an acquired movement becomes a skill. So when one does repeated movements incorrectly whilst any activity, the cortex memorizes it. This leads to early wear and tear, chronic pains and injuries. Proper examination and working towards re patterning the movements lead to accurate sequencing in muscle firing and recorrecting the wrong patterns.
Training the muscular connection and co ordination as a link for correct force transmission rather than an individual muscle. Muscles in the body are arranged in linear and diagonal form and they are inter-dependent on each other. They are covered with fascia whose primary job is evenly creating and distributing forces. So one muscle in the link can create imbalances elsewhere in their connection.
Working on the body inside out. I have been working extensively with therapeutic Pilates since 2014. Pilates works with the core firing and also when in neutral position helps in re activating a 'switched off' muscle. I have completed my Matwork Pilates with APPI (UK), and now practice Pilates in therapy as well as mat workouts.
Pain management of specified and unspecified mechanical pains. These can take place due to vigorous movements and/or exercises in an incorrect form and posture, repetitive action or by some external force like fall or accident etc. All of it affects the musculoskeletal and the myofascial system. Being a good observer and a constant learner, I am able to get a near accurate diagnosis of my client. Putting together my therapeutical and rehabilitation experience, I am able to offer a sooner and long term recovery to my clients.
Fitness is a psychosomatic wellbeing , where one feel more connected and energetic after exercises. When one is able to feel and observe the movements during an exercise, muscle engagement is improved and injury risks are reduced. Scientific workouts involving the deep muscles in the body improve stability and thus reduce risks to injuries.
